How Does S’more Work?

S’more rewards you in exchange for placing ads on your phone’s lock screen. We’ll give you points each day you see ads on your phone’s lock screen. Points can also be earned by completing surveys & referring friends to S’more. You can exchange points you’ve earned for gift cards.

When does S’more Award Points?

S’more awards lock screen points once per day. S’more does not award points per unlock, per click or per ad viewed. We’ve found that advertisers are not interested in serving ads to people who are being incentivized per ad.

How do I earn Points?

You can earn points in one of three different ways:
  1. Every S’more user will earn Lockscreen points once per day. You receive these points all at once for using the S’more lock screen. You will see these points as “Daily Usage” in your points feed.
  2. You can complete surveys for points. S’more surveys are powered by Peanut Labs. Peanut labs sets the rate for surveys and fully controls eligibilty. For more on surveys, please see this section on surveys.
  3. You can refer friends and family to S’more. The people you refer are given an additional 25 points when they sign up using your referral code. You receive 25 points for the referral when the people that you refer redeem their points for the first time.

What am I Earning Points Towards?

S’more points can be exchanged for Gift Cards. While points have no cash value, they can be exchanged at a general rate of 100 points to $1. After you redeem your points, we automatically email you an Amazon.com Gift Card redeem code.

What types of gift cards are available?

S’more points can be exchanged for gift cards. The types of gift cards available may change without notice. As of March 2017 the following gift cards are available:

  • Amazon.com
  • AMC Theatres
  • Applebees
  • Best Buy
  • CVS
  • Domino’s Pizza
  • GameStop
  • Starbucks
  • Target

How Do I Receive My Rewards?

When you redeem S’more points, we’ll automatically email you an Amazon.com Gift Card Redeem Code. The email goes to the email address we have on file for your account. It comes from redeem@smoreapp.co. Occasionally these emails can get caught in spam filters or even accidentally deleted. We have a record of redemptions for each account so if you do not receive you gift card send an email to S’more support & we can send you another copy of the code.

Why do I need to Verify my Email Address & Phone Number?

There are two reasons for this. First, we need to verify your email address in order to ensure that your rewards are sent to the right place. Second, we need to verify your phone number because S’more is designed to be used on mobile phones only that are able to send & receive text messages. Also, you are only permitted to have one S’more account per device, so once a number is associated with an account, it can not be used again.

What Countries is S’more Available In?

S’more is available for use in the United States only.

Does S’more work on Tablets

No, S’more is not designed to work on Tablets.

Can I use S’more on Multiple Devices?

No, you can use S’more on one device only and each device may be used for one account only.

Can I Still Use a Passcode/Pattern Security Lock?

Yes, you can. However, S’more will not replace this lock screen, you will need to “unlock” your phone twice.

Can I use S’more with Another Lock Screen App?

Yes it is possible to use S’more with another lock screen rewards app, but we cannot guarantee that you’ll receive points daily.

S’more Surveys

How do S’more Surveys Work?

S’more Surveys are completely powered by Peanut Labs. This is to say, S’more is able to provide access to the survey and you will be rewarded with S’more points, but Peanut Labs alone controls survey rewards & eligibility.
You are shown a list of surveys that Peanut Labs believes that you might be a match for. You will be asked to verify that you are a human by answering one question. You will then be taken to a survey administered by a 3rd party. If you are screened out of a survey, S’more will add one point to your account. If you successfully complete a survey, Peanut Labs will add points to your S’more account.

Why am I told I’m not a match, after I was already told I was?

The one or two questions you answer prior to starting a survey are to verify that you are a human and are not using any autmated tool to complete the surveys. They do not detemine demographic eligiblity. Your eligibility is determined by Peanut Labs & the market researcher. S’more does not receive any monetary benefit from survey screen outs, we only get paid if you do. It is in our best interest to deliver surveys that our users can complete.

Why am I constantly being screened out of Surveys?

Since S’more Surveys are powered by Peanut Labs, we do not determine eligibility for surveys nor do we get any kind of monetary benefit for survey screen outs. If you are screened out of a survey S’more will add 1 point to your account. We understand this isn’t much, but we are essentially giving these points from our pockets and not receving reimbursement for them.

Why Am I Being Asked for Personal Information?

Many people that do survey based research need demographic information from the people that complete these sureys. S’more does not share user identity with Peanut Labs and you will not be asked for your name or any contact information beyond your ZIP Code.

What Benefit does S’more Get from Surveys?

In addition to making our users happier by providing additional ways to earn, S’more receives payment for surveys that are successfully completed. The reward is split between S’more and the user where the user recieved 80% of the reward and S’more receives the remaining 20%. It is in our best interest to provide surveys that our users can complete and we only get paid when our users do.

I was told I completed a Survey & Didn’t Receive a Reward

Referral Bonuses

How Does the Referral Program Work?

When you refer a user you both will receive 25 bonus points.

  • The Person you Referred will recieve 25 bonus points when he or she creates their account.
  • You, the Referrer receive 25 points when the person that you referred redeems their points for the first time.

I Referred Someone & Didn’t Receive My Points

When you refer someone, you receive your 25 bonus points when they redeem their points for the first time. If you beleive that you should have received bonus referral points and have not please email S’more Support.

How Can I Find My Referral Code.

Your referral code is available in the S’more app by visiting the “Earn Points” page and then selecting “Refer Friends” from the list of options. You will see your code and a button to copy a link that can be shared via text & social media. The link will automaticlly include the code with any accounts that download S’more using that code.

I Created an Account & Forgot to Enter my Referral Code.

Unfortunately we are not able to add referral bonuses to accounts after they have been created.

Redeeming Points

What Can I Redeem Points For?

S’more points can be exchanged for Amazon.com Gift Cards. While points have no cash value, they can be exchanged at a rate of 100 points to $1. After you redeem your points, we automatically email you an Amazon.com Gift Card redeem code.

Will there Be Other Redemption Options Available?

Yes, we have recently partnered with a provider that will allow us to provide gift cards from many more retailers. We plan on adding 5-10 additional retailers soon.

How Will I Receive My Rewards?

When you redeem points, we automatically genereate a gift card redeem code and then include that in an email to you. You should receive your reward within a couple of minutes. It will be sent to the email address we have on file for your account.

Will you be adding ___ As A Redemption Method?

We have the ability to add gift cards from many different retailers and services such as Netflix, PSN or Xbox Live. We will be making decisions based on demand and feedback. The only popular gift card that is not currently available and more difficult to add is PayPal. We do not have plans to add PayPal as a redemption method at this time.

I Redeemed Points and Didn’t Mean To

Unfortunately, all redemptions are final. Once points have been redeemed and used for a gift card, we cannot take the gift card back and add points to your account.

I Redeemed Points & Didn’t Recieve Anything

If you’ve redeemed points, you should see a record of that in your points feed on the S’more home screen. If you haven’t received your gift card, please check the inbox of the email address associated with your S’more account. Sometimes these emails can get caught in spam filters or even accidentally deleted. If you still cannot find it, email S’more Support and we can send another copy of your code.

The Gift Card Code I Have Was Already Used.

S’more generates a new gift card redeem code for each redmption and codes are not and cannot be reused. If you have trouble redeeming your gift card balance please email S’more Support.

I Didn’t Get Lock Screen or Usage Points One Day

We’ll need to look into why this happened, but in most cases it is very easy for us to add any points you may have missed to your account. Please email S’more Support & we can help you.

Why Did My Points Expire?

S’more points expire one year after they were awarded. Additionally, we expire points as abandoned if there has been no activity from an account for 30 consecutive days. If you belive your points were expired in error, please email S’more Support.

I Seem to Have Lost All of the Points I Earned

If you log into S’more and see your points have disappeared (and were not expired), it is very likely that you may have accidentally created a new account instead of logging into your old account. Your points are safe! We can help you log into your original account, please email S’more Support for assistance.
